Where�s Jessica Rabbit?; Mar�s Birthday & Random Happenings

Can�t get a hold of Jessica, she�s supposed to be flying up here on Thursday, but was moving this past weekend. I hope she makes it up. If not, I�ll spend all weekend in bed. Hopefully not alone. Hmm.

We celebrated Mar�s birthday with a surprise brunch. Well, sort of surprise. She knew BW and I were going to be there�the surprise was that our friend Kand joined us. She was surprised. We celebrated at Ciao Bella on N. 8th in Williamsburg. Best coffee around, I swear. I drank about 8-10 cups alone. We had a very nice time.

After the brunch we wandered around the hood, I found a badly altered Gucci dress and rescued it. (For $10!) Someone attempted to take this gorgeous dress in, and didn�t do a good job. BW assured me it could be saved by our seamstresses at work. I�ve talked to another lady who does patterns, and she�s assured me that if BW says it can be rescued, she could direct the seamstresses on what to do. Yay! Don�t you just love it when you can get designer clothes for nothing and they look like you paid thousands of dollars? I love New York!
