Bello Dia

It�s Friday. A long week is over. I know it was only four days, but it was a long four days. The Boss Lady was on vacation and so was the Chairman�s EA, so he asked me to fill in. It�s been fun.

I had a girl stop me in the street this morning to ask me where I got my flip-flops, she said she MUST HAVE them. Sorry, no can do. I sort of told her. I told her I got them at a Tibetan store, and when she asked if it was here in the city, I said �No, of course not.� She stopped asking questions then. Then I had another woman stop me to ask me to inquire about my skirt�.Here I thought I was bumming out today. I guess the bohemian look is working today. Who knew?

I talked to Lishy from LaLa Land last night. She and her boss have decided to part ways. Awww, anyone know of an actor looking for a personal assistant? It�s time to call in the Six Degrees Card. I�ve contacted everyone I know that knows someone. I can�t talk about that right now though. I�m afraid I can�t give details, though�it might compromise her chances. I�ll tell when it�s done and she�s well established in her new position. I can tell you that she said she made contacts with someone at Gotham Magazine. She�s been getting invites to parties here in New York, and since she�s off in LaLa, she�ll forward them on to me. Yay!

I wanted to go to the Nuyorican Poets Caf� tonight, but Mar is not available. Darn. I�m not in a party-party mood, so what to do? Can�t let perfect hair go to waste! (I�m getting it done this afternoon.)

Well, something will come up, I�m sure. I have to get back to the grindstone if I�m getting out on time.
