A Busy Goddess is a Happy Goddess

This is turning out to be crazy morning at work. In a good way, the way I like. Tons of stuff going on, meetings overlapping, so I have to reshift, reorganize, and reschedule everyone and everything. It�s when I�m at my best. I excel in these circumstances. We had what I thought was a minor crisis. We have this spreadsheet that contains insane amounts of information that we use on a day to day basis for Traffic purposes. Someone from our Import Department called and said that half the spreadsheet was gone. I go into my boss�s office and calmly say, �We seem to have a little crisis.� It turned out to be nothing, someone had moved the information and neglected to notify the rest of us, but the CFO commented on how calm I was in dealing with this. Well, I rarely lose it until after the crisis is over. I really miss this kind of craziness! It just doesn�t happen in this job.

So Misty will be here tomorrow. Yay! Haven�t seen her in forever and a day. I�m meeting her at the airport. I�m preparing myself for her scathing comments on my looks. She stopped liking my looks once I veered off from big Texas hair. (Hel-lo! We graduated high school how long ago??) And forget the fact that I no longer wear my hair jet black. She hates change. I think that�s why when I lived in Dallas, she preferred seeing me early on a weekend morning, that look doesn�t change much. Speaking of, my hair looks particularly fabulous today. Yes, more than usual. I�m having twice the amount of people asking what I do to my hair today. It has that light shampoo commercial look today. Likely accentuated by the fact that I�m wearing big white crystal-chandelier earrings and a black silk scarf around my neck. What do I do? I have a great hairdresser. Hee, hee. I know that sounds unoriginal, but true. I don�t spend much time primping, just not necessary.

Yay! L2 returned my call. Told him it was necessary for me to see him tonight, since Misty will be here tomorrow and I can�t be cranky from lack of sex. So much to do tonight! I have to go to the Tribeca box office, I have to go grocery shopping with BW (the weather the last couple of days hasn�t been cooperative), and then I must have sex with L2. All necessary things to do!
